As a 3D artist, one of the main tasks is to create 3D models using specialized software. These models can be used in various industries, including gaming. When it comes to tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons, 3D models are particularly useful for creating miniatures of the game's characters, monsters, and environments.

Sculpting is one of the key skills required for 3D artists working on tabletop games. Sculpting involves creating a 3D model by manipulating a digital mesh. There are different techniques for sculpting, but one popular method is called "digital sculpting." This technique involves using specialized software to shape a digital mesh, which can then be refined and detailed to create a final 3D model.

When creating 3D models for Dungeons and Dragons, there are some unique considerations to keep in mind. For example, the models need to be detailed enough to capture the unique characteristics of each character or monster, but not so complex that they are difficult to produce at scale. In addition, the models need to be designed to fit within a certain scale and size range, as they will be used in tabletop gameplay.

I have been making 3D sculpts for tabletop games for a while and I wanted to give some information about gear I use.

I have been using XP Pen Artist22E Pro since February of last year. its been 1 year and it is time to review this product.

The XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro is a 21.5-inch graphic tablet with a display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is an updated version of the XP-Pen Artist 22E with improved features and performance.

Some of its key features include:

Improved Color Accuracy: The Artist 22E Pro boasts 88% NTSC color gamut, which provides more accurate and vivid colors for better image quality.

Redesigned Pen: The stylus that comes with the Artist 22E Pro has been redesigned with an ergonomic grip and a more responsive pressure sensitivity. It now has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for more precise control and natural drawing. Although you need to charge it with a cable once in a while.

Improved Stand: The stand for the Artist 22E Pro has also been redesigned for better stability and flexibility. It can be adjusted to different angles and heights to suit the user's preferences. Although I am not using the stand right now. I attached a durable monitor arm to the tablet which gives me freedom of movement in 3 axis.

Tilt Support: The stylus of the Artist 22E Pro now supports tilt recognition up to 60 degrees, providing more control and natural movement while drawing.

Shortcut Keys: The tablet comes with 16 customizable shortcut keys that can be programmed to perform specific functions, improving workflow and productivity.
