This fish is the most difficult to keep and let's say that in the aquarium they are suitable for people with a lot of experience! ORIGIN AND DISTRIBUTION🙂, ORIGEN Y DISTRIBUCION🧠🦾👍

This is due to the fact that in these countries the temperature of the waters and physical-chemical properties is favorable for fish such as (Symphysodon discus), in summary the "DISCS" are fish of South American origin, we can find them from Peru to the Amazon, This fish loves to inhabit warm and calm waters!😁😁

Cuando vemos los paises sur americanos con habitats tropicales como por ejemplo Brasil, Colombia, Venezuela, nos encontramos con un repertorio de variedad de biodiversidad! esto se debe a que en estos paises la temperatura de las aguas y propiedades fisico-quimicas es favorable para peces como (Symphysodon discus), en resumen los "DISCOS" son peces de origen sur americano, los podemos encontrar desde Peru hasta el amazonas, este pez adora habitar aguas calidas y tranquilas! 😍😍

FEATURES🙂, CARACTERISTICAS🧠🦾👍

The morphology of its body is characteristic for being elongated, round and full of intense colors! the original color of the fish is a very deep red! But in the aquarium hobby man has manipulated his genetic crosses obtaining a great variety of colors, therefore we can find Symphysodon discus green, brown, yellow, white with a mixture of various shades, some may be black!🙂🙂

La morfologia de su cuerpo es caracteristica por ser alargada, redonda y llenos de colores intensos! el color original del pez es un rojo muy intenso! pero en la acuarofilia el hombre ha manipulado sus cruces geneticos obteniendo una gran variedad de colores, por lo tanto podemos encontrarnos Symphysodon discus verdes, marrones, amarillos, blancos con mezcla de varias tonalidades, algunos pueden ser negros! 😍😍

Another characteristic of the species is that they have a lateral line that runs throughout their body, it is not always easy to see with some mutations! then you can see the anal fin is interesting because it runs through the entire ventral part of the animal and stops when it reaches the side fins! The same happens with the dorsal fin, it has a route that ends in the tail fin, it has this aspect to give the fish a more synchronized mobility with the lateral fin!😁😁

Otra caracteristica de la especie es que presentan una linea lateral que recorre todo su cuerpo, no siempre es facil de ver con algunas mutaciones! luego puedes ver la aleta anal es interesante porque recorre toda la parte ventral del animal y se detiene cuando llega a las aletas laterales! lo mismo sucede con la aleta dorsal tiene un recorrido que culmina en la aleta caudal, tiene este aspecto para darle al pez una movilidad mas sincronizada con la aleta lateral!👨‍🏫👩‍🏫👨‍🎓

Distinguir los machos de las hembras es muy dificil, debe aquirirse una experiencia y estudiar bien las caracteristicas de la especie porque suelen ser identicos de aspecto! lo que diferencia ambos sexos es un accesorio en forma de papila genital que se observa en la epoca reproductiva y que en ambos sexos es diferente! el tamaño de los discos puede variar hasta medir unos 20cm siendo peces de porte grande! en acuarios suele ser de nado lento! pero en la vida silvestre alcanzan grandes velocidades cuando emigran!🦾🦿🧠

The reproductive season is significant for the behavior of the species, between the months of October to April we see the males making courtship towards the female, they move around the female showing their coloration, then both sexes choose a place to spawn! It is normal in spawning parents eat some eggs, it is a survival behavior! then many fry manage to survive and grow into beautiful colorful discs!💥💥

La epoca reproductiva es significativa para el comportamiento de la especie, entre los meses de octubre hasta abril vemos a los machos realizando cortejos hacia la hembra, se desplazan al rededor de la hembra mostrando su coloracion, seguidamente escogen ambos sexos un sitio para desovar! es normal en el desove los padres comerce algunos huevos, es un comportamiento de supervivencia! luego muchos alevines consiguen sobrevivir y crecen hasta ser hermosos discos coloridos!👨👩👶🧒👧
