Cada especie de ave tiene picos especializados para capturar una variedad de alimentos diferentes, por tanto aquellas aves con picos gruesos y cortos son granivoros, aquellos con picos largos y gruesos son grutivoros y rompen semillas duras! luego tenemos picos largos y curvos como los del Upupa epops y te preguntaras por que? en realidad es una estrategia de evolucion y adaptacion gracias a este pico el animal puede introducirlo por orificios profundos en la arena y poder capturar larvas, insectos y otros animales! son insectivoros pero tambien deben incluir en su dieta azucar! me llama la atencion que no son nada timidos!🦗🐜🐝🦗

Y llego la epoca de Golondrinas! estos fantasticos animales no son comunes de Portugal y en invierno viene para aca en busca de alimentos y poder anidar! el pais se llena de golondrinas muchas provenientes de Africa, es increible que las golondrinas tambien son muy parecidas ambos sexos, a esto se le llama Inexistencia de Dimorfismo Sexual! cuando esto ocurre en las aves el tamaño es determinante para ver el sexo casi siempre la hembra es mayor que el macho! para mi son una de las aves con los vuelos mas rapidos y agil! van en el aire capturando insectos!🥚🥚

Si no me equivoco estamos en presencia de Hirundo rustica, es comun de africa y europa pero en Portugal unicamente la vemos entre octubre hasta mayo ya que es la epoca de invierno en su pais de origen! el macho adulto no pasa los 19 centimetros, estas aves son parecidas a las cigueñas ya que segun estudios cuando fabrican nidos pueden recordar donde lo fabricaron y vuelven al año proximo para reutilizarlo! son nidos fuertes construidos con salibra, excremente y barro!🧭🤓🚩
