Seeds are the means of propagation of plants! Basically it is the mature fruit of angiosperms, the seed is formed as a consequence of the maturation of the ovule in both angiosperms and gymnosperms within the seed the embryo is located that is capable of originating a new plant! In this post we are going to know what the internal structure of a seed looks like!

RADYCLE๐, RAIZ EMBRIONARIA๐ง ๐ฆพ๐
The embryonic root is a very important structure for the plant, it is formed by the germination of the seed and basically space is opened in the soil to bury the root and be able to absorb the essential nutrients, it is a structure of its own in vascular plants!
COTYLEDONS๐, COTILEDONES๐ง ๐ฆพ๐
Cotyledons would be the main leaves of the plant, they are the first to germinate and their role is essential in mono and dicotyledons, since they store nutrients that the plant absorbs to grow more efficiently! while the germination process occurs the cotyledons thicken to store lipids, starches and other nutrients!
SEED COAT๐, CAPA EXTERNA๐ง ๐ฆพ๐
This is the outermost layer of the seed, it serves to keep the physiology of the plant intact, so that external factors such as temperature do not affect embryonic development! in this outer layer the seed is in a state called dormancy! "ASLEEP" when external factors are prone to growth the coat sends chemical signals that activate germination!
outer integument๐, tegumento externo๐ง ๐ฆพ๐
In the outer layer we first observe a musilage is the outermost layer of the seed composed of polysaccharides that serve to absorb water in the germination process, then we find a very thickened palisade layer, until we reach the endosperm which is the structure where it is they house some chromosomes and that also serves for the nutrition of the seed! then the innermost layer which is the epidermis and which also has the nutrition roll!
DNA is an organization to foster and DENSIFY NATURE-APPRECIATION which aims to establish REPORTS OF BIODIVERSITY DATA that is contributed by all of us Hiveans and subsequently cataloged.
Therefore DNA searches for HIGH-QUALITY posts that aim to DESCRIBE and determine the BIODIVERSITY AROUND YOU with added EXPLANATIONS and INFORMATION. For these informative posts they offer a CURATION SERVICE using the @dna.org account. It is also a CURATION TRAIL. Just add the #dna TAG if you think that any of your posts is what they are looking for.

It is interesting to look at it in detail which we normally ignore
Yep! Thank for reading and comment
