In the 70s of the last century, we were predicted for the year 2000, which seemed too far away, a world in which there would be flying cars in highly technical megacities.

The year 2000 finally arrived and none of those predictions had been fulfilled, the only thing we had was a well-orchestrated hoax called "Effect 2000", due to which everything would stop working and the planes would fall in mid-flight.

This, obviously, did not happen either; the planes did not crash and the world did not end, but at least we managed to renew and update the entire computer park to the joy of HP, IBM and others.

20 years later or almost 50 from the initial predictions you start to see glimpses of all the technologies that, at that time, seemed totally incredible to us.

That is why when I read this news today, I felt a chill that made me shiver: Spain authorizes the flight of passenger drones. It is not exactly the same but it works for me.

The Chinese company eHang, has just obtained permission in Spain and Norway to carry out test flights with an electric and autonomous drone equipped with eight motors and with capacity for two people.

Seville will become the first Spanish city to launch a pilot test program with the aim of expanding urban air mobility and developing routes for future tourist applications.

This will allow me, not only to be able to see the fulfilled prophecy live but, who knows, I will even be able to shop around if it is not very expensive and I survive the coronavirus.
