Technology and emotion management in times of pandemics

Greetings dear friends and followers of my blog, as this long and complex Covid-19 pandemic continues, states continue to apply increasingly drastic measures of confinement and restriction of movement, although the objective of these measures is to reduce the number of infections and deaths from coronavirus, the truth is that this sad reality has increased the number of people with psychological quality problems.

The confinement and restriction of movement has impacted our usual lifestyles, preventing us from physical contact with family, friends and co-workers, an element that has created feelings of helplessness, fear, discouragement, and excessive worry that in most cases if the person does not know how to deal with this situation can fall mental health crisis.

That is why the management of emotions in times of pandemic is of vital importance to avoid disorders of psychological quality, fortunately, we live in an era of cutting-edge technology, therefore, there are many tools that exist on the internet easily accessible, where we can enter and ask for help that allows us to take care of our mental health.

Many people tend to seek help by attending scheduled appointments with psychology professionals, since a psychologist can understand and understand the emotional shock that we are going through, and provide recommendations that provide us with a better mental well-being, however, there are also people who do not agree to attend face-to-face therapeutic treatments of psychological profile, so online consultations are a good option.

Now, whatever the position to address the mental health crisis that may be generated as a result of the confinement by the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the basic recommendations is to avoid accessing information sources that cause concern or stress, and in cases where the person can not control their emotions it is best to go to online psychological therapy, making use of the advantages offered by technological tools.
