Primera vez en el quirófano// first time in the operating room

Las primeras veces suelen asustarnos por el suspenso de no saber que puede pasar o que podría salir mal, pero esta primera vez fue para mi todo lo contrario, la emoción superó al miedo de las primeras veces.

¿qué tal hivers? en esta ocación quiero seguirles contando de mis experiencia en el hospital y de como fue mi primera vez en un quirófano, que a pesar de ser un área riesgosa donde cualquier cosa puede salir mal, yo solo pensaba en lo genial que era estar ahí en ese momento, el área de quirófano del hospital está constituída por 8 quirófanos, uno de estos inteligente que no está funcionando por el momento y otros 7 de los cuales dos no se encuentran opertivos. Fuí junto con una de mis compañeras a una de estas salas no operativas a revisar una máquina de anestesia que tenía alguna fuga en el circuito de paciente.

On this occasion I want to continue telling you about my experiences in the hospital and how my first time in an operating room was, that despite being a risky area where anything can go wrong, I just thought how great it was to be there in that At the moment, the operating room area of the hospital is made up of 8 operating rooms, one of them intelligent, which is not working at the moment, and another 7, of which two are not operational. I went with one of my colleagues to one of these non-operative rooms to check an anesthesia machine that had a leak in the patient circuit.

De forma super rápida diagnósticamos el origen de la fuga, sustituimos el fuelle y también los tubos del circuitos que estaban muy desgastados y con humedad dentro, por lo que nos quedó algo de tiempo para revisar algunas lámparas cialíticas del área, cuando íbamos pasando enfrente de una de estas salas con un paciente ingresado y a punto de ser operado, otra máquina de anestesia (la que estaba conectada al paciente) empezó a presentar fallas, por lo que entramos a resolverla para que pudiesen seguir con el procedimiento cosa que se logró satisfactoriomente en cuestion de minutos para seguir con la operación. Y en medio de toda la adrenalina y ajetreo del momento yo solo pensaba "amo lo que hago".

Very quickly we diagnosed the origin of the leak, we replaced the bellows and also the tubes of the circuits that were very worn and with moisture inside, so we had some time left to check some surgical lamps in the area, when we were passing in front of one of these rooms with a patient admitted and about to be operated, another anesthesia machine (the one that was connected to the patient) began to present failures, so we went in to solve it so that they could continue with the procedure, which was achieved satisfactorily in matter of minutes to continue with the operation. And in the middle of all the adrenaline and hustle of the moment I just thought "I love what I do".
