Hello, hivers!

This time I bring you a super recommendation, it is a documentary that you can find in one of the Youtube channels that I told you about before (Biia Lab), titled "A crime called education ". If you are interested in changing paradigms regarding the current educational system, this material is for you.

Stress in itself does not represent a pathology, remember that this term refers to a physiological and adaptive reaction necessary for survival, the problem lies in its chronicity and excessiveness. School stress, although not a fully established term in the medical literature, can be defined as the reaction of children and adolescents in school to highly demanding situations that require the deployment of their coping skills to adapt to the stressors of each evolutionary stage reached.

Among the stressors to which young people are exposed at school are: bullying, mobbing and an obsolete educational system that includes regulations created more than 200 years ago, during the industrial revolution, when it was necessary to educate the human resource needed to work in factories, promoting obedience and stillness rather than the ability to question, creativity and initiative.

It is worth saying that the issue of the educational system is a deep social, historical and cultural framework, in which both teachers and students are disadvantaged, since the former are not well paid and limit their ability to innovate, while the latter suffer the consequences of not questioning the old paradigms around the personal, social and spiritual development of the child.

This documentary through studies and interviews with teachers, students, managers and parents, aims to raise awareness about these issues relevant to society, issues that can no longer be ignored, issues that affect the performance of children, issues that hurt and it is up to each of us to start promoting a comprehensive education that beyond the cognitive, takes into account the emotional, social and spiritual development of human beings.

I end with the importance of remembering that...

Educating the mind without educating the heart is not educating at all ".- Aristotle
