Today being June 19th was officially set aside and designated as World Sickle Cell Awareness Day. The international awareness day is observed annually with the main goal to increase public knowledge and an understanding of sickle cell disease, and the challenges experienced by these patients, their families and or their caregivers(caretakers).
Due to the covid-19 pandemic everyone was asked to take to all the social media handles to create the awarenes of the sickle cell anemia, so I can't be left out.

Many marriages have crumbled because of this, many lives in regrets and agony.
Many intending couples pay deaf ears to this because the feel they are so much in love, but isn't it said that prevention is better than cure, so while bring an innocent child to the world just to come and suffer all in the name of love.
Quote me well I never said it is wrong to love, neither did I say it's wrong to fight for love or for the ones we love but not at the risk of an innocent soul that will come and suffer.

Today the world has taken it upon themselves to create awareness on sickle cell and the problems that comes with it. The picture below was gotten from a friends Facebook page still on the note to create awareness for intending couples👇👇👇👇, hope that will go a long way to help?

Let's help the upcoming generation, do not go and disturb those children were ever they are, allow them to rest rather than bring them to the world to suffer form one crisis to another.
On writing this I just remembered one of My most loved Senior colleague back then at the high school that died of sickle cell, she was so intelligent, her name was Dorathy, on this day I say may her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen😥😥😥. It was indeed painful loosing such a beautiful soul to the cold hands of death.
Safe a soul today by creating this awareness in your own little way.
