QUALITIES THAT MUST BE POSSESSED BEFORE EMBARKING ON A RELATIONSHIP

Welcome back to my page, hope you're having a remarkable moment wherever you are around the world.
For the past few days, i've been discussing on love, character and relationship because i know that one of the most important part of our life is our relationship with people around us, our families and partner. When one's relational life is not stable, such a person will hardly find the sense of joy and satisfaction in whatever life offers at that period of time. So the need to stabilize our emotional, behavioral and social life, is very paramount to our wellbeing.
So, I will like to use this medium to briefly discuss the topic "Qualities that must be possessed before embarking on a relationship". So, kindly follow me as i proceed, and do not forget to visit my previous post and blog and ensure you follow me for more updates, thank you.
Relationship on a true sense, requires a long-term commitment and can be full of lot of expectations between both parties in love, and if not met, may be abused or jeopardized in the long run.
Below, are the qualities that must be possessed before embarking on a relationship
1. Emotional maturity

emotional maturity is one's ability to manage emotions and take full responsibility irrespective of life circumstances. The way you handle tough situations and still remain balanced defines your emotional maturity.
One must be emotionally and psychologically matured enough to handle and sustain relationship, if not, it might not last.
Relationship is meant for the mature minded individuals. A man as a leader must be able to absolve pains and correct his woman when needs arises. Be valiant and ready to face any challenges that comes your way. Be emotionally balanced and correct your woman with love and affection.
2. You must be godly

Being godly do not necessarily mean your relationship should be void of intimacy, but your intimacy must be glorifying God and must not be sinful, this calls for self control in the part of both parties.
Godliness requires self denial of some certain pleasures of life which is required to be kept till marriage. It's quite unfortunate that most ladies detests ungodly guys. Godly couple are the usually the most secured, when it comes to relationship because such relationship is usually defined on purpose and godliness.
Remember that a godly home will produce godly children. So there's need to build yourself spirituality to take charge of your natural world.
3. Stop looking for a perfect man or woman to start with

If you're looking for a perfect Man/woman, then you don't have a role to play in the life of that man/woman because you're of no use to his emotions. The purpose of meeting with a man is to complete him or perfect him in love, submission, honour and respect.
4. Be Honesty and Sincere

A dishonest person will definitely be a dishonest parent. Trust is the bedrock of a relationship. A relationship not founded on trust is going no where.
5. Be teachable

Teachability is your willingness to learn and accept when you're wrong. Love grows when both parties are teachable to themselves and respect each other's opinion irrespective of their gender status or position.
6. Be visionary and responsible

A man as the head, is expected to be visionary and goal oriented. Define the purpose of your relationship with your woman from the start and never chide away from taking responsibilites where necessary or applicable.
7. The lady must be submissive

A lady must have the ability to submit her strength under control. Never confront your man in an argument or bully him. Approach him with a sense of respect and he will definitely calm down to your level of understanding. Don't nag. Men detests nagging women before it gets them frustrated easily. Remember, the power to bring his mind down lies in your hands, so, use it wisely.
8. Be attractive

You must be physically attractive and never look down on yourself or anyone: Have an health self esteem, be approachable and sociable, be diplomatic while dealing with people, especially the difficult ones.
9. Be patient

Sustainable relationship requires patience to survive. One have to be patient.
10. Understand moods and gestures

Understand her gestures and be a good listener. When a lady says "you're selfish" as a man, what she is implying is that you're not defining love from her own perspective. Be lovable and ready to love with total commitment. Don't bother starting a relationship if you're not ready to be committed to it. Reason is because women sees love as a symbol of true commitment. So that shouldn't be taken with levity in order to attain your desirable goal which is a happy home ever and after.
