Saludos a todos mis estimados lectores y seguidores, siguiendo con mi ritmo de publicaciones el día de hoy compartiré una importante noticia en el campo de la salud y en la lucha contra el COVID-19, se trata del desarrollo de un desinfectante a partir de nanotecnología que permite cortar en un 100% la cadena de contagios del SARS-CoV-2.
Greetings to all my dear readers and followers, following my rhythm of publications today I will share an important news in the field of health and in the fight against COVID-19, it is about the development of a disinfectant from nanotechnology that allows to cut 100% the chain of contagion of SARS-CoV-2.
Científicos venezolanos pertenecientes a la Escuela de Química de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) desarrollaron un desifentacte con partículas de cobre y plata a través de nanotecnología, este desinfectante posee un alto nivel de actividad antiviral y antimicrobial que cortan la cadena de contagios del COVID-19. Este importante avance desarrollado en Venezuela contribuirá a la lucha que este País sudamericano mantiene contra este mortal virus.
Venezuelan scientists from the School of Chemistry of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) developed a disinfectant with copper and silver particles through nanotechnology. This disinfectant has a high level of antiviral and antimicrobial activity that cuts the chain of infection of COVID-19. This important advance developed in Venezuela will contribute to the South American country's fight against this deadly virus.
Según manifiesta la investigadora María Rodríguez Profesora de la Escuela de Química de (UCV), la nanotecnología es el estudio y desarrollo de distintos sistemas a escala manométricas, la nanotecnología ofrece soluciones a múltiples problemas que se desarrollan en las diferentes áreas de nuestro quehacer diario, sector energético, salud, ambiente, entre muchos más. Sin duda alguna la nanotecnología aporta grandes ventajas en el desarrollo de soluciones a los diferentes problemas que se presentan en todas las áreas.
According to the researcher Maria Rodriguez, Professor of the School of Chemistry (UCV), nanotechnology is the study and development of different systems at a manometric scale, nanotechnology offers solutions to multiple problems that are developed in different areas of our daily work, energy sector, health, environment, among many others. Undoubtedly, nanotechnology brings great advantages in the development of solutions to the different problems that arise in all areas.
El desarrollo de este importante desinfectante es fundamental en este momento donde el COVID-19 sigue mutando y transformándose en variantes aún más fuertes y difícil de controlar, en los actuales momentos se están aplicando nuevas tecnologías que ayuden a crear mecanismos que permitan contener la cadena de contagios y muerte de este virus, de allí la importancia de que científicos venezolano aporten al país estas alternativas tecnológicas como lo es el desarrollo de este desinfectante.
The development of this important disinfectant is fundamental at this moment where COVID-19 continues mutating and transforming itself into even stronger and more difficult to control variants. Este desinfectante es un gel que fue desarrollado a base de nano partículas y además se aplicó microscopía de fuerza atómica, es un desarrollo netamente venezolano y el cual fue desarrollado por un grupo de investigadores de la UCV, los integrantes de este equipo son: José Daniel Martínez, Jimmy Castillo, Isabel Andueza y Elsy Bastidas. En conclusión, este importante avance y aporte que estos investigadores aportan a la lucha contra el COVID-19 marca la diferencia, pues lo hacen en momentos donde la situación política, social y económica de Venezuela no es la más estable para poder hacer este tipo de investigaciones por sus altos costos.
