[ESP /ING] AstraZeneca o Pfizer. / AstraZeneca or Pfizer.
El virus mortal del COVID-19 sigue dando de qué hablar, para nadie es un secreto que los diferentes países del mundo han comenzado desde hace ya varios meses la vacunación masiva de sus pobladores contra el COVID-19, aunque en algunos pariese de la Unión Europea se han presentado problemas con algunas marcas de vacunas que al parecer han ocasionado la muerte de varias personas que han sido vacunadas.
The deadly COVID-19 virus continues to cause a stir, it is no secret that different countries around the world have started several months ago the mass vaccination of their populations against COVID-19, although in some countries of the European Union there have been problems with some brands of vaccines that have apparently caused the death of several people who have been vaccinated.
Hace meses atrás algunos países de la Unión Europea decidieron no continuar colocando la vacuna de AstraZeneca, pues esta al parecer producía efectos secundarios que en las personas vacunadas, el efecto que generaba o genera esta vacuna es que causa tromboembolias en las personas vacunadas ocasionando la muerte. Ante esta situación el mismo laboratorio fabricante de la vacuna decidió también detener la vacunación como medida de prevención.

En España fueron vacunados 1.5 millones de personas esenciales con esta vacuna de AstraZeneca, es por ello que el comité de bioética de España decidió autorizar a estas personas a elegir si cambian la segunda dosis de vacunación por la Pfizer o prefieren mantener la vacunación de la segunda dosis con AstraZeneca. Del mismo modo el comité de bioética considera recomendable que las personas que decidan cambiar la segunda dosis por la Pfizer firmen un protocolo de consentimiento.
In Spain, 1.5 million essential persons were vaccinated with this AstraZeneca vaccine, which is why the Spanish bioethics committee decided to authorize these persons to choose whether to change the second dose of vaccination to Pfizer or prefer to keep the second dose vaccination with AstraZeneca. Likewise, the bioethics committee considers it advisable that people who decide to change the second dose to Pfizer sign a consent protocol.
Es importante resaltar que en el caso de Pfizer existen estadísticas que muestran la poca cantidad de casos que se han presentado luego de aplicar la vacuna, Pfizer anuncia que por cada millón de vacunas colocadas solo 3,4 casos de efectos secundarios han sido reportados, siendo este un numero bastante bajo en relación a la cantidad de vacunas colocadas. En conclusión, las vacunas que han sido desarrolladas por los diferentes laboratorios para poder contrarrestar este mortal virus, al parecer no han surtido el efecto esperado puesto que este virus ha tenido la capacidad de mutar y adaptarse a nuevas condiciones haciendo mucho más complejo su erradicación.
It is important to highlight that in the case of Pfizer there are statistics that show the low number of cases that have occurred after applying the vaccine, Pfizer announces that for every million vaccines administered only 3.4 cases of side effects have been reported, which is a very low number in relation to the number of vaccines administered. In conclusion, the vaccines that have been developed by different laboratories to counteract this deadly virus, apparently have not had the expected effect since this virus has had the ability to mutate and adapt to new conditions making its eradication much more complex.
