¡BIENVENIDOS A MI POST! // WELCOME TO MY POST

Hola amigos de #GEMS. // Hi #GEMS comunity!

// Today I bring you the continuation to the previous post of the repair of an ALL-IN-ONE monitor brand GEDA , which has a capacitor failure in the primary power sector.

(Si no has visto el post, haz clic en la imagen para verlo // If you haven't seen the post, click on the image to see it)

During its repair, I was able to diagnose that the power adapter had a power failure, so I decided to take it apart and check what was happening.

We break the tin seals that prevent removing the copper casing:

Retiramos también el protector anti-estática del circuito // We also remove the anti-static protector from the circuit:

Ya, en primera instancia, detectamos la falla: Capacitores inflados (dañados) // Already, in the first instance, we detected the failure: Inflated (damaged) capacitors:

Procedemos a desmontarlos // We proceed to disassemble them:

Medimos el primero. Evidentemente marca valor infinito e inestable, está totalmente dañado // We measure the first. Evidently it marks infinite and unstable value, it is totally damaged:

Conclusión: Está dañado también // The second, marks a value only of approximately 18% of its real value of work and decreasing ... Conclusion: It is damaged too.

Procedemos a reemplazarlos. // We proceed to replace them. To do this, I bought the 2 new parts. I thank @josesalazar200 for the borrowed favor, since he was closer to the electronics store and due to the quarantine they were only working half a shift, so it was going to be impossible for me to be on time.

Procedemos a colocarlos y soldamos // We proceed to place them and weld:

... retiramos los excesos de alambre // ... we remove the excess wire:

Así quedan // So they are:

Procedemos a hacer la primera prueba y medición // We proceed to make the first test and measurement:

Al parecer funciona perfectamente. Procedemos a la prueba grande: Probarlo en función con el televisor // It seems to work perfectly. We proceed to the big test: Test it in function with the television.

First indication that we are on the right track, the monitor stabilizes and stays in red light waiting to be turned on. Note that I am using the original power adapter, that is, the one we are repairing.

WORKS PERFECTLY! Repair has been a success!

Primero, colocamos el protector anti-estática nuevamente al circuito // We proceed to reassemble it as it was (Or make the attempt, haha). First, we put the anti-static protector back to the circuit:

Colocamos la base inferior de plástico // We place the bottom plastic base:

Y la cubierta superior... // And the top case...

With the help of the soldering iron, we melt the edges of the casing a little so that they come together

¡Tarea completada!

Task completed!

We have successfully repaired our power adapter.
