[ESP/ENG][#GEMS Exclusive] Repairing a cracked LCD Screen: BLU Life XL L050L // Reparando una pantalla LCD rota: BLU Life XL L050L ~ by @alejandrop
Good evening #hivelovers, this time I bring you in detail how I made the screen replacement of an Android phone brand BLU model LIFE XL (L050L), which unfortunately more than a year ago suffered an accident in which it literally flew out of hand from the owner and ended up face down on the floor, and the surprise when lifting it: The screen had been completely broken and there was absolutely nothing to be seen, just deformed colored lines and nothing else. The worried face of my mother-in-law, who was the owner of the phone at the time, couldn't wait to be noticed, as all of her work was based on receiving and processing reports using her phone, and often the computer as well. her. After 1 year without money to buy the screen (Thanks to #hive now I could) and 2 weeks of waiting for the replacement, it finally arrived and I have it in my hands !.
Making this brief introduction, we proceed quickly to explain what was done in the repair. The first thing I did first of all was to go look for it at the Liberty Express international parcel office, very famous in Venezuela since the time of CADIVI when the Venezuelan government gave dollars to Venezuelans so that they could make purchases online (Now it only lives in my memory, haha).
My daughter wanted to accompany me, so she came with me.
With the package in my hands, I proceed to uncover it.
○ Assembly ○
Once we have all our components at hand, we proceed with the assembly, but first I must test the screen to confirm that everything is working perfectly, it will not be damaged and the assembly is useless.
Be very careful with the screen flexors when assembling, as you could damage them when assembling, and we don't want that, right?
As I mentioned in the previous image, you need to be very careful with your flexors. In the following photograph, you will be able to detail that it was connected with great care, this in order to perform the screen test, without the cameras or any other unnecessary component for it.
We temporarily place the backcover to hold the battery and turn on the equipment.
And apparently our screen works. They can denote that it says "Optimizing the application 41 of 121", imagine, it had more than 1 year saved since the accident.
As proof of this, here is an image of the start with the phone locked, 82 messages in 10 conversations, and its latest revision: March 25, 2020! (03-25-2020).
Once we have verified that everything is working correctly, we proceed to place the glue (the adhesive tape) and place it on the base of the phone. Excuse me but I forgot to take a photo of the tapes glued to the base for screen placement.
Here we can see the flexes back in position, with the screen already glued and fixed to the base.
A continuación, procedimiento de ensamblaje foto a foto:
Next, photo by photo assembly procedure:
Colocación de las cámaras en su posición correcta.
Placing the cameras in their correct position.
Por último, colocación del backcover.
Finally, placement of the backcover.
Finally we put the battery and the back cover of the battery.
And with this last image I conclude my work. The repair was a success, like all the ones I upload on this platform.
I hope my post has been entertaining and see you next time dear friends of #GEMS. It is a pleasure and honor for me to always bring content for you, thanks to the support I also receive from @appreciator it is possible to bring this type of content. Soon I will bring more repairs, I have two LCD monitors damaged by an ignition power failure, a very common failure in them of which I have uploaded 2 similar repairs on my blog. Good night and my people take care of me. A hug.

This was a very nice approach
I remember having my phone screen damaged by accidentally dropping it on the floor. I was so angry, I did not know what to do. But once I had the money for the repair, I watched the engineer go through the details the way you just mentioned
He was especially careful with flexors as you said, and once he found out everything was in place appropriately, he went on to couple the rest of the phone.
There my phone was back, and it looked all brand new. I was pleased and very happy at the same time
I am sure mum was happy to get her phone in good working condition after one year. Well done. You did a great job. I am proud of you
