Sorry it took me so long to reply.
Yes, I'm getting by. Health is still squiffy but as my my mother had to move on to chemotherapy and imunotherapy (her initial treatment was ineffective) I'm not really worrying about myself much. Just spending all my time either working or helping to look after her and make sure we spend plenty of quality time together in case the worst happens.
Writing has kinda taken a back seat apart from essential freelance stuff.

I'm so sorry about your mother. I lost mine in 1986 after a long illness. Sometimes, it still feels like yesterday. Every moment you spend with your mother now will be a comfort to you in the future. I wish you both peace and comfort.
