A tropical find that cuts through space is the Date Palm

Earlier, I knew only one place in our city where you can see a date palm, this is the window sill in our apartment, where, in a flowerpot, two date palms feel very comfortable, which my daughter grew from date seeds that were left after enjoying the dates that I bought from the market.

But, recently, I visited the lobby of one of the universities in our city and saw an adult palm tree, about seven meters high.

This tree looked great but lonely.

It is not destined to give fruit, because for the ovary of fruits it is necessary to carry out cross-pollination, and in the case when you have only one palm tree, this cannot be done.

In Israel, one of the most popular occupations, and the most sought-after worker, is the date palm pollinator.

In addition, workers need to ensure that the number of fruits does not exceed the amount that can become a critical mass for the palm tree and damage it.

The leaves of this palm tree look great in monochrome. They are like sabers that cut through the air.
