My entry to Around The World challenge number 15/3

This week I would like to share with you a shot I took at snake lagoon on Kangaroo Island in South Australia.

Snake lagoon is a beautiful walk following a creek that turns into a large lagoon. Which then flows down to the ocean.

Kangaroo Island is full of wildlife especially kangaroos hence the name.

As we followed the creek down to the ocean I spotted this goanna walking along the sand. This guy was over 1 meter long! As he crossed the creek he was jumping up the rocks to not get wet as you can see in the bottom left of the photo.

It was so cool to watch this guy make his way over the rocks he has some great balance and agility!

Luckily for us we didn't see any snakes on this walk as the name suggested haha.
