G'day Hive,

This week I would like to share with you a shot I took of the Cockpit waterfall on Norfolk Island.

Norfolk Island is actually part of Queensland Australia even though it's over 1400klm off the coast of Brisbane Queensland.

The Cockpit waterfall is on the north coast of the island, and we were very lucky to see the waterfall flowing as it rained alot the night before.

I crossed the Creek at the top of the Falls then climbed along the slippery mountain side to get this long exposure shot.

Norfolk Island is a truly beautiful untouched island to explore!

Beautiful view of the waterfall in drier part of the world, looks lush and green one would never think of island off Australia!

Norfolk Island is very lush and green. It's crazy that it's classed as an island of Australia being so far away out to sea, Norfolk Island is actually closer to New Zealand.

With volcanic look and feel I would think closer to Southern New Zealand, nice capture!
