I had been having problems with my desktop screen for a long time, an MSI Optix 27" G271 144Hz. I was very happy with it until it started having problems at the bottom of the screen, some black lines started coming out... at first I thought it wouldn't be a problem but as the days went by, the black stripe increased to the point that I couldn't even access the Windows taskbar or switch between Excel sheets...
Fortunately, the screen was less than two years old since I bought it and the warranty was still valid...
As a result, after a few weeks working and leaving my eyesight with an old 22" screen that I had at home, MSI has fully refunded the amount I paid for my screen.
With what I have obtained, I have bought a much better screen in my opinion, a Gygabyte G27 F2, 160Hz IPS FHD and all the acronyms that you can imagine meaning that it is the latest screen for gamers on the market for this size... yes I said gamer screen and, in my opinion, there is no better screen than that for someone who spends so much time in front of it, even without "gaming"!
Finally my eyes have a break!

I just use my TV instead (43" 4K) and I am happier than anything else. Sometimes I work with a lot of windows and it's got more real estate than Manhattan :)
Enjoy your new one!

When is not working, better to replace it with something better to increase your user experience and bring happiness when you work.

I gave up on desktops many years ago. It's so weird seeing products having such a short lifespan these days... It's great that you still had the warranty for yours.

Congratulations for your new screen. Two years ago today, we bought a b17 screen that was about 50 thousand Pakistani rupees and now its price has become about 1.5 lac Pakistani rupees.
