Hey guys!

Sun came back with force around here! Fortunately!

Yesterday I decided to take a break to enjoy the family! And I took the opportunity to take some pictures to post here!

But when night came and we were having lunch in the backyard, which has a garden and stuff, dimly lit, an animal walking almost entering the door of the house.

Here everyone is afraid of cockroaches! Hahahaha

We soon thought it was a giant cockroach! We watched from afar, seeing what this animal would do, cockroaches here have a habit of flying at us! Hahahaha

These flying cockroaches are so tense! So much place for them to jump, come right on top of us!

But it was too big to be a cockroach...

We took courage and got closer, we saw that it wasn't a cockroach...

We live close to the beach, but there is no pool or lake in my house. What will this insect be?

I went there to search. I really like Inaturalist, a mobile application that helps to identify fauna and flora. I have a habit of taking pictures of animals and posting them there.

We found out that it was a cockroach, but not the most common Blattaria cockroach we see, and that it flies all over us!

It was a kind of water cockroach! Perhaps a Lethocerus, which is a distant cousin of the common cockroach we have around here.

It is an angry animal, it was difficult to catch it and put it in the pot. However we made it! We released near a lake...

In the end, we were glad it wasn't a flying cockroach! :P

See ya!

Fala galera!

Sol voltou com força por aqui! Ainda bem!

Feio demais!

😤

I was kinda grossed out by these pictures if I'm honest. I'm a lover of nature but being said, a pest is a pest, and disease is disease. I'd rather not have cockroaches around me, or see them enlarged in blurry photos either.

Absolutely go ahead and share anything you like. The shock factor is definitely there, but I would hope you can find better things to "go take pictures to post on liketu" cause this is a firm 1/10

I did not understand your comment. If it is a decentralized network and does not violate consent terms, it is surprising to read a review in this tone. My posts are about animals and nature. Education about nature, living together, learning about scientific names. Anyway thanks, good luck.

It's decentralized! And i'm not making up any rules about what people can or cannot post. As a matter of fact, you'll find my ideology to be very liberal and I welcome short form posts. Go elsewhere with this and you might find some nasty hammers coming down.

I just expressed that I don't like cockroaches, and seeing them doesn't inspire me to like the post very much. It's literally nothing personal, it's just a reaction to what's in your post. I'm sure you have other things I like.

😂😂

I don't like that ugly beast either!

I'll post a cute animal for you!😁

Take the opportunity to say that the application is incredible. I think I was missing an application like this in hive. I wish you good luck. Thanks for the upvotes. 👍✌️
