Considerations
In Italy, in the last 10 years, episodes of sudden and heavy rains are increasing.
Floods are among the most evident manifestations related to hydrogeological instability.
These catastrophic episodes have already occurred in Italy. In 1951 in the Po in Polesine, 1966 flooding of the Arno, in 1994 and 2000 in the Po in Northern Italy.

Some estimates report a figure that gives pause for thought. It seems that more than 8 million Italians live in areas at risk of landslides and floods, while 2.4 million Italians live in areas at high risk of flooding. In these territories there are approximately 220,000 companies.

It must also be considered that heavy rainfall increases the risk of landslides in hilly areas.

Confartigianato has developed a report where it seems that the dangers due to climate change are feared more in Italy than in the rest of Europe.
In this report it seems that 378 climate events of significant impact have been recorded in Italy.

Considerazioni
In Italia, negli ultimi 10 anni, gli episodi di piogge improvvise ed abbondanti stanno aumentando.
Le alluvioni sono tra le manifestazioni più evidenti relative al dissesto idrogeologico.
In Italia si sono già verificati questi episodi catastrofali. Nel 1951 nel Po nel Polesine, 1966 esondazione dell’Arno, nel 1994 e nel 2000 nel Po nel Nord Italia.

Alcune stime riportano un dato che fa riflettere. Sembra che più di 8 milioni di italiani vivono in zone a rischio frane e alluvioni, mentre in zone ad elevato rischio alluvione vivono 2,4 milioni di italiani. In questi territori ci sono circa 220.000 aziende.

Bisogna anche considerare che le piogge abbondanti aumentano il rischio di frane nelle zone collinari.

Confartigianato ha elaborato un report dove sembra che le insidie dovute al cambiamento climatico siano temute più in Italia che nel resto d’Europa.
In questo report sembra che in Italia siano stati registrati 378 eventi climatici di impatto rilevante.

Conclusioni
In Italia vediamo sempre più paesi inondati dall’acqua.
