Hello hivers,
After my first year on Hive I decided to set myself a main goal and some secondary goals to achieve before my second anniversary on what is now my only social home.

Why is it important to set goals?

Planning and setting goals is the first step to achieve them..

Main goal

My main goal is:.

to be reached by February 28, 2021.

Secondary Objectives

---

• Reach a reputation of at least 72
• Publish at least 600 post 900 post
• Playing in the league Champion of Splinterlands(Achieved goal)

Note:The goal inherent to the game of Splinterlands I reached it in July but since Splinterlands introduced a new requirement for access to the Champion League (the Power Score) access to the Champion League of Splinterlands becomes again a goal to be achieved.

Objective: Reputation of 72

---

The reputation is an interesting mechanism of Hive because it gives a synthetic and immediate idea of the activity of each account.

Today, November 2nd my reputation is 71.25
On October 1st I had a reputation of 70.77

In October my reputation increased by 0.48 points.

According to the information on the site: https://hivebuzz.me/ranking my reputation score places me in position 912 among all Hive users.

Last month I was in position 1027 and then I went up by a good 115 positions.

How does the Reputation mechanism work?

---

The reputation mechanism is based on a calculation using a logarithmic function based on 10.

There are 4 months to February 28, 2021 and to reach a reputation of 72 I would have to increase my reputation by at least 0.187 per month.
It's clear that reaching this goal is only a question of time and to not reach it I should stop publishing but I like writing on Hive and so I will continue my writing activity.

Publish at least 600 post 900 post

This is a goal that I remodeled because the first goal (600 posts) I reached well in advance.

So far I have published 725 posts.
In October I published 37 posts (3 posts more than in September).

To reach my goal I must publish a total of 900 posts within February 28, 2021.
So I have to publish another 175 posts ( 43.75 posts per month).
Well, this is perhaps the only goal that I will have difficulty to reach because I will have to increase the number of monthly posts but the next work commitments will reduce more and more the time I can dedicate to Hive.

But now let's get back to the goal I care about more.

My Wallet

On October 1st on my Wallet I had a value of 8136.484 Hive (HIVE+HP+HBD).

On November 2nd my Wallet had a value of 8136.484 Hive (HIVE+HP+HBD): 9614,490 HP , 0,973 HDB and 142,071 HIVE.

To calculate the total value in HIVE of my wallet I have to convert the HDB to HIVE first.

0,973 HDB, based on today's change, is equivalent to 8,221 HIVE.

Adding up all the data, the total value of my wallet is 9764,782 HIVE.

The total of HIVE (HP+HDB+HIVE) earned in a month is 1628.3.
The result is higher than the result of the previous month.
It is my best result ever. Before October, the month in which I earned the most HIVE was June (1459 HIVE).
The June result was largely due to the conversion of my STEEMs to HIVE.
The result of this month is a very good result but it has to be contextualized to the particular moment of HIVE.
Today 2 October the value of 1 HIVE is 0.109 $.

When the value of an HIVE is particularly low, published posts earn less value in terms of $ but, because there are fewer people writing, active users tend to earn on average more HIVE from the reward pool.
Many authors stop writing while I don't, I continue at the same rhythm as always because I believe and hope that the value of HIVE may rise in the future and especially if I look around I see projects definitely less valid than Hive.

The finish line is really close.
In October I exceeded the monthly target with 1255.59 HIVE more and for this reason the amount of HIVE that I have to accumulate in November to get to February with 10000 HP is only 58.80 HIVE, a quantity that I usually reach in three days.

October: Considerations

I am very satisfied with the month that has just passed:

• The total rewards from curation have increased compared to September.

• Total Curation Rewards (HP): 94 HIVE (last month: 66.11 HIVE)

The monthly total of rewards from writing and publishing posts has also increased.

• Total Author Rewards (HP): 1004 HIVE (last month: 821.43 HIVE)

The remainder (624 HIVE) was obtained largely from:

• sale SIM token (dcity)
  On dcity I have stopped to invest from approximately three months and all the token Sim that I obtain from the game I convert them in HIVE.
• 400 HIVE I have obtained them from the sale of a part of the token DEC that I have accumulated playing to Splinterlands.
• About 50 HIVE I got them as prizes for the curator activity and for the participation in some contests.

Good intentions for the month of November

---

The month of November will be a particular month because I will resume two small activities/investments that the March lockdown had practically interrupted.
These new and rediscovered commitments will further reduce the time I have to dedicate to Hive.
The value of HIVE has reached an all-time low in the last month but I continue to enjoy myself.
The activity of writing, the activity of game on the DAPP of Hive like Splinterlands, Dcity, Rising Star are activities that I do with pleasure and for pure fun and for this I will continue to have fun without thinking minimally or without making me influence negatively from the current value of HIVE.
I will continue on my way with the goal of increasing my Hive Power.
Once I exceed 10000 HP I will immediately set other goals!
I have never done a Power Down and I would like to become an Orca even if the goal is far away and difficult to reach.
I believe a lot in the value of interaction and I will try not only to write more but also to comment more.

I am very satisfied with my monthly result on Hive and as I do in all my reports I want to thank all the people who support me with their upvotes and comments and who have contributed to the growth of my account.

I am a member of several communities and my thanks go to all of them.
Im particular however I want to thank them:

• It's my main community since it was born, 90% of my posts are published in Olio di Balena.
• @fedesox her support is as continuous as her love for Hive which is contagious.
  A good part of my HP is the result of his continuous support.

Ciao hivers,
dopo il mio primo anno su Hive ho deciso di pormi un obbiettivo principale e alcuni obiettivi secondari da raggiungere prima del mio secondo anniversario su quella che è ormai la mia unica casa social.

Perchè è importante porsi degli obbiettivi?

Pianificare e stabilire degli obiettivi è il primo passo per raggiungerli.

Il mio obbiettivo principale è:

Nota: L'obbiettivo inerente al gioco di Splinterlands l'ho raggiunto nel mese di luglio ma poichè Splinterlands ha introdotto un nuovo requisito per l'accesso alla lega Champion (il Punteggio Power) l'accesso alla lega Champion di Splinterlands diventa nuovamente un obbiettivo da raggiungere.

La reputazione è uno dei meccanismi più interessanti e che più mi piace di Hive perchè dà un'idea sintetica e immediata dell'attività di ogni account.

Oggi, 2 Novembre la mia reputazione è di 71.25
Il 1 Ottobre avevo una reputazione di 70.77

Nel mese di Ottobre la mia reputazione ha fatto registrare un incremento di 0.48 punti.

In base alle informazioni del sito: https://hivebuzz.me/ranking il punteggio della mia reputazione mi colloca in posizione 912 tra gli utenti di Hive.

Il mese scorso ero in posizione 1027 e quindi sono salito di un numero di posizioni inferiore al mese scorso ma comunque di ben 115 posizioni.

Come funziona il meccanismo della Reputazione?

---

Il meccanismo della reputazione si basa su un calcolo che utilizza una funzione logaritmica in base 10 e quindi sarà sempre più difficile aumentarla.

Mancano 4 mesi al 28 Febbraio 2021 e per raggiungere una reputazione di 72 dovrei aumentare la mia reputazione di un valore di almeno 0.187 al mese.
E' evidente che raggiungere questo obbiettivo è solo una questione di tempo e per non raggiungerlo dovrei smettere di pubblicare ma scrivere su Hive mi piace e quindi continuerò la mia attività di scrittura.

Pubblicare almeno 600 post 900 post

Questo è un obbiettivo che ho rimodulato perchè il primo obbiettivo (600 post) l'ho raggiunto con largo anticipo.

Fino ad oggi ho pubblicato 725 post.
Nel mese di Ottobre ho pubblicato 37 post (3 post in più rispetto al mese di Settembre).

Per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo devo pubblicare un totale di 900 post entro il 28 Febbraio 2021.
Devo quindi pubblicare ancora 175 post ( 43.75 post al mese).
Ecco, questo è forse l'unico obbiettivo che avrò difficoltà a raggiungere perchè dovrei aumentare il numero di post mensili ma gli impegni lavorativi riducono sempre di più il tempo che posso dedicare ad Hive.

Ma adesso ritorniamo all'obbiettivo a cui tengo di più.

Il 1 Ottobre sul mio Wallet avevo un valore di 8136.484 Hive (HIVE+HP+HBD).

Sommando tutti i dati, il valore totale del mio portafoglio è di 9764.782 HIVE

Il totale degli HIVE (HP+HDB+HIVE) guadagnati in un mese è di 1628.3
Il risultato è superiore al risultato del mese precedente.
E' il mio risultato migliore di sempre. Fino ad ora il mese in cui ho guadagnato il maggior numero di HIVE è stato il mese di Giugno (1459 HIVE).
Il risultato del mese di giugno era dovuto in gran parte alla conversione dei miei STEEM in HIVE.
Il risultato di questo mese è un ottimo risultato ma va contestualizzato al momento particolare di HIVE.
Oggi 2 Ottobre il valore di 1 HIVE è di 0.109 $.

Quando il valore di un HIVE è particolarmente basso i post pubblicati guadagnano meno valore in termini di $ ma, poichè ci sono meno persone che scrivono, tendenzialmente gli utenti attivi guadagnano in media più HIVE dalla reward pool.
Molti autori smettono di scrivere mentre io no, continuo con lo stesso ritmo di sempre perchè credo e spero che il valore di HIVE possa salire in futuro e soprattutto se mi gardo intorno vedo progetti decisamente meno validi di Hive.

Ho creato una tabella per monitorare il percorso verso l'obiettivo prefissato.

Il traguardo è davvero vicino.
Nel mese di Ottobre ho superato l'obbiettivo mensile con 1255.59 HIVE in più e per questo motivo il quantitativo di HIVE che devo accumulare nel mese di Novembre per arrivare a Febbraio con 10000 HP è di soli 58.80 HIVE, quantitativo che raggiungo in genere in tre giorni.

Ottobre: Considerazioni

Sono molto soddisfatto del mese appena trascorso:

• E' aumentato il totale delle ricompense che derivano dall'attività di curation rispetto al mese di Settembre.

• Total Curation Rewards (HP): 94 HIVE (mese scorso: 66.11 HIVE)

E' aumentato anche il totale mensile delle ricompense che derivano dalla scrittura e pubblicazine dei post.

• Total Author Rewards (HP): 1004 HIVE (mese scorso: 821.43 HIVE)

La parte restante (624 HIVE) è stata ottenuta in gran parte da:

• vendita SIM token (dcity)
  Su dcity ho smesso di investire da circa tre mesi e tutti i token Sim che ottengo dal gioco li converto in HIVE.
• 400 HIVE li ho ottenuti dalla vendita di una parte dei token DEC che ho accumulato giocando a Splinterlands.
• circa 50 HIVE li ho ottenuti come premi per l'attività di curatore e per la partecipazione ad alcuni contest.

Propositi per il mese di Novembre

---

Il mese di Novembre sarà un mese particolare perchè riprenderò due piccole attività/investimenti che il lockdown di marzo aveva praticamente interrotto.
Questi nuovi e ritrovati impegni ridurranno ulteriormente il tempo che ho a disposizione da dedicare ad Hive.
Il valore di HIVE ha toccato il minimo storico in quest'ultimo mese ma io continuo a divertirmi.
L'attività di scrittura, l'attività di gioco sulle DAPP di Hive come Splinterlands, Dcity, Rising Star sono attività che faccio con piacere e per puro divertimento e per questo continuerò a divertirmi senza pensare minimamente o senza farmi influenzare negativamente dal valore attuale di HIVE.
Continuerò il mio cammino con l'obbiettivo di aumentare il mio Hive Power.
Superati i 10000 HP stabilirò subito altri obbiettivi!
Non ho mai fatto un Power Down e mi piacerebbe diventare un'Orca anche se l'obbiettivo è lontano e difficile da raggiungere.
Credo molto nel valore dell'interazione e cercherò non solo di scrivere di più ma anche di commentare di più.
