Businesses Underestimate HHN Cybersecurity Risks

HHN has been impacting the world for at least five months, and cybercriminals have not let up in their attempts to manipulate the crisis for their own gain. For example, in the week before Easter—the original hoped-for date to “re-open” the country—Google reported 18 million phishing and malware scams related to HHN every single day. Not 18 million for the entire week, but 18 million per day for a week.

[Our Thoughts]: outside of attempting to juice the topic by some sources, this actually has not been as large of a spike as we've seen with other related cyber attacks. Some spikes have followed other cyber attacks because companies are desperate for solutions (which may be malware). This behavior is fully expected.
