Monomad:A hidden nature reserve

One afternoon I had some free time to hunt for macro subjects. In my mind, I wondered if this afternoon there were any magical creatures hiding in the bushes, because most of them like to roam in the wild grass. However, my main target was not visible. I kept searching for it, even if I had to be patient and keep moving. After a few minutes of walking around the wild grass, they were nowhere to be seen. I did not give up; I racked my brain to find something that afternoon. Just then, I noticed some wild plants hiding in the bushes, which became my next target.

One of the wildflowers, dandelion, commonly known as Taraxacum officinale, is a type of wildflower that is round and white, growing among other grasses. Its flowers are very unique; when blown by the wind, they will detach and float away. I was a bit surprised when I touched one of its petals and found that they detach from the flower very easily. Dandelions often bloom when the rainy season arrives.

Continuing to another part, in a very narrow corner I saw a young fern shoot that was purple, catching my attention because the young fern shoot was very unique with its characteristic curled leaves and fine hairs on the leaves and stem. Most fern leaves can be consumed, but I have never tried wild fern leaves.

I headed to another corner where I saw a wild grass growing on the edge of one of my neighbor's fences that really caught my attention, prompting me to take some pictures. This wild plant is often called 'love-lies-bleeding' grass. The stems of this grass have small spirals all along their length, and if we touch them, it will definitely hurt, with the thorns sticking to our fingers.
