MONOMAD || RHINO DRAGONFLY (Orthetrum sabina)
Hello everyone, Good evening and greetings to all of us and tonight I want to share my picture, namely dragon dragonfly.
In my area people often call it by the name of a dragonfly, I found this dragonfly in my yard when I was looking for photography objects. The dragonfly is not difficult to catch because this dragonfly is not afraid of humans.
Based on the explanation from Wikipedia, Orthetrum sabina, the slender skimmer or green marsh hawk, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread, being found from south-eastern Europe and North Africa to Japan and south to Australia and Micronesia.
This dragonfly has a larger body size than the usual dragonfly and for the same color as ordinary dragonflies, here are some pictures of the dragonfly.
This dragonfly has the following characteristics:
- has a long body size or about 4 cm
- has three color variations, namely green, black and white
- has two pairs of wings of which two on the left and two on the right
- and has four legs of which two on the left and two on the right
As for the gender, I don't know. Based on my image above I have edited it with the [Lightroom] application and for the type and name I searched through google lens, I hope you like it.
