MONOMAD : Damselfly
(Edited)
To participate in today's monomad challenge, I'd like to offer some macro images of insects that I captured while they were perched on a rock. These insects are called Damselfly / damselflies, a sort of little insect related to a dragonfly, but the difference between the two is that damselflies are at rest. Although damselflies often repose with both wings closed firmly against their bodies, dragonflies typically open both wings. Children in my area refer to this bug as a helicopter. I'm going to share some pictures of what are known as damselflies with all of my pals. I hope you like them.
That's all from me today, see you in my next post, and don't forget to smile today :)
