Monomad - The Silver-Green leaf Weevil

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

Earlier around 10 am the weather started to clear up a bit even though there was still occasional drizzle but it didn't really bother me to hunt for insects in the bushes on the riverbank.

And after a while there I managed to find a beetle with the scientific name Phyllobius argentatus, a species of short-nosed weevil or also known as the silver-green leaf weevil.

As the name implies, this beetle does have a color that is almost the same as the color of plants. So if we are not observant in looking for it, the presence of this beetle cannot be detected in the bushes.

And below I have included some photos of the silvery-green leaf beetle that I mean, hopefully this can add collection of photos for today's #monomad challenge.
