Monomad - Spiders (Oxyopes salticus) and Caterpillars (Orgyia leucostigma)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

This afternoon I went for a walk to the rice fields while monitoring the condition of the rice plants which have started to flower and will soon enter the harvest season. As usual I don't forget to bring my favorite macro lens. And there I managed to shoot two macro objects namely spiders and caterpillars.

And again I found a spider Oxyopes salticus eating its prey. Although this is not the first time I have seen this species of leaf spider eating its prey, but it has always felt interesting to aim at the spider while it is eating its prey.

Then at the same location I also found a caterpillar, even though it was a bit amused but I still had the courage to take a picture of it. And this caterpillar seems to be the larvae of the Orgyia leucostigma moth.
