Monomad - Snout Beetle (Curculionidae) [ENG-ESP]

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

If I have previously shared photos of long-snouted beetles, this time I found another species of long-snouted beetles. However, in terms of shape and color, it is certainly different from the long snout beetle that I have shared here before. If previously the snout beetle that I shared was small with a brown color, this time the snout beetle is dark white.

Si anteriormente he compartido fotos de escarabajos de hocico largo, esta vez encontré otra especie de escarabajos de hocico largo. Sin embargo, en términos de forma y color, ciertamente es diferente del escarabajo de hocico largo que he compartido aquí antes. Si anteriormente el escarabajo del hocico que les comparto era pequeño y de color marrón, esta vez el escarabajo del hocico es de color blanco oscuro.

Each insect species has its own way of avoiding something they perceive as dangerous or threatening their safety. Be it by flying, jumping and so on. However, there is something interesting about the Curculionidae beetle species, when I caught it this beetle fell from the leaves to the grass. And I was surprised when I took him from the grass he looked like he was dead, even though he was only pretending to be dead so that the prey no longer wanted to hunt him.

Cada especie de insecto tiene su propia forma de evitar algo que percibe como peligroso o que amenaza su seguridad. Ya sea volando, saltando, etc. Sin embargo, hay algo interesante sobre la especie de escarabajo Curculionidae, cuando lo atrapé, este escarabajo cayó de las hojas a la hierba. Y me sorprendí cuando lo saqué del pasto parecía que estaba muerto, aunque solo estaba fingiendo estar muerto para que la presa ya no quisiera cazarlo.
