Monomad - Moths, Robber Flies & Planthopper
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Today I want to share some insect shots that I took a few days ago while hunting insects in the forest. Some of the insect species that I share include a small moth that is attached to a wild plant flower. The moth is Oncocera semirubella, a small species of moth from the Pyralidae family.
Then at the same location I also found a species of robber fly which was also smaller than the usual one I had encountered. And he seems to be Holcocephala, a genus of robber fly in the Asilidae family.
Then in the last photo is a planthopper species from the Ricaniidae family which is also smaller in size than the same type that I have previously encountered.
