Monomad - Microporous Mushroom
Hello Everyone..
This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
In this monomad challenge, I again want to share some photos of mushrooms that I found on rotten areca nut stems. I took this mushroom photo while hunting for mushrooms a few days ago in an oil palm plantation area in a remote village. To be precise, it is in Tunong Jaman Serba Village, Tanah Luas, North Aceh, Indonesia.
As for the fungus, I mean Microporus, a genus of fungi in the Polyporaceae family. We can easily get this fungus on the stems of rotting plants, and I often get them on the stems of areca nut plants. For some reason, rotten areca nut plants can actually grow several other types of fungi there. This is truly a fertile ground for mushrooms.
And below I've uploaded some photos of the mushrooms I mean. Hope you are interested and like it.
