The common name for this beautiful butterfly is Wavy Maplet (Chersonesia rahria). She landed on my bag while I was out walking in the North Aceh jungle this afternoon. She appears to be a good fairy who approaches me with a warm greeting as a guest in her 'home.' She was still there with her wings flapping as I got the camera phone out of my pocket. I shot her from various angles, and she appeared to have given me permission to do so.
