Monomad: T. kitamurai

Thomisus kitamurai is the scientific name of this spider. Its last name, "kitamurai," was quite cool in my opinion. This refers to Japanese, and I have no idea what it means. In general, scientific names for animals or plants always refer to Latin, so why does this one use Japanese terms? This must be because the first person to describe this species was a Japanese arachnologist, Koji Nakatsuji (1943). I don't think there is anything wrong with that, considering that Koji does have the capacity to be an arachnologist.

After a long observation, this crab spider is really good at mimicking ninja styles.
