Monomad: Mr. Big-headed Lagon Fly

Hey BW photography lovers! Have a nice weekend.

Here I have some macro photos of the big-headed lagon fly (a hoverfly species of Eristalinus megacephalus) that I took as my entry for today's #monomad challenge.

Of all the images, the first two I captured were using a 20mm macro lens, while the others I shot using a 35mm macro lens.

Actually, I would love to shoot its big head from the front for one click, but it seems to be a shy fly. So, I couldn't get it.
