Monomad: Kulat Ek Asei

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

This afternoon, I went for a walk while looking for insects around the hills not far from my house. Instead of finding fascinating bugs, I just found grasshoppers and cotton bugs. But I'm not at all interested in capturing it. What an unlucky afternoon, I thought to myself.

While I was grumbling to myself, I accidentally glanced at the fallen palm tree near me. Apparently, some pretty little mushrooms grew there. Here, it is called "kulat ek asei" (if interpreted in English, it means dog poop mushroom). But that doesn't mean the mushroom grows on dog feces.

Well, nature seems to want to cheer me up. It doesn't matter if you don't find insects, 'dog poop' also looks cool captured on camera.

Great contrast and texture in this. Makes me wish I was one of those Fern gully creatures, and I could just post up and nap under one of these.
