Monomad Challenge: Ramaria

I'll be submitting some macro shots of microscopic fungi for the current round of the #monomad contest.

Ramaria stricta, also known as the strict-branch coral, is a member of the genus Ramaria. Without a cap, this genus of cosmopolitan mushrooms has so many parallel branches that are compact and dense. There are other mushrooms with just a few branches that mimic deer antlers.

Capturing these mushrooms in their natural environment won't result in a nice background image. Therefore, I intentionally moved them to a mossy place so that they would seem beautiful and charming.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
