Monomad: A Cluster of Snowy Inkcap Mushrooms

Here are some macro photos I submitted for the current #monomad challenge. I noticed a cluster of snowy inkcap mushrooms (Coprinopsis sp. ) while on a mushroom walk with my friends last Sunday.

Actually, it was not me who first noticed these mushrooms, but a friend who at that time also joined me on a mushroom hunt. He deliberately ignored the mushrooms because he wasn't interested. "Ugly! They're so small, my hand will definitely tremble if I shoot them," he grumbled.

In my eyes, they are something beautiful; it would be a shame to ignore them. Besides, I do love the tiny mushrooms more than the big ones. The tiny mushrooms allow you to get smooth backgrounds and sometimes bokeh as a bonus; that's why. But anyway, I'm glad my friend dumped them. Too often he does that; it's a good thing for me. LOL!
