Solar Update 180822
Three more M-class solar flares erupted from the sun on August 18th 2022; an M1.3, M1.5 and M1.3 again. These images were captured by the Solar Dynamic Observatory and are shown as layers in wave-lengths 171, 193 & 211. Use the links above to access these sources.
According to WSA-ENLIL Solar Wind Prediction, there was a large arrival today and another is due to arrive soon. If you see any Aurora Borealis dancing in the northern skies, snap a picture!
Last week my friends were warning about this sunspot, turns out they were right!
These are multiple significant events, today's arrival caused a level 6+ geomagnetic storm.
