Hey there! It's been a while! Yeah Linux is a great tool to know if your job is anything related to do with computers. I upgraded my dual boot to Windows 11 a couple of months ago and haven't really used it yet.
Linux is also a must if you want to operate any sort of node related for crypto as you mentioned.
