Let's Play "Digimon World: Next Order" - 15 - City Builder

Digimon World Next Order is a Digital Pet simulator game where you take care of your Digimon needs while recruiting Digimon to the City and building it along the way.

Digimon World Next Order is a modern sequel to the beloved first entry of the Digimon World series. This time, you manage two Digimon at a time instead of one! The scope of the world is also bigger, and there are more recruitable and obtainable Digimon. The soundtrack is very nostalgic with many tracks being remasters of Digimon World 1 OST. Still, the original had more charm in the moment-to-moment experience.

In this session of my playthrough, I first meet Luche. I also get destroyed by the boss fight after her. Machinedramon is really strong, isn't he?

I recruit Togemon, Veemon, and Garudamon to the city. Veemon is a builder, so a lot of the city's buildings will be improved from now on! I still have to collect the materials, and that takes a lot of time.

Anyway, after some training, my Youkomon has Digivolved to MegaKabuterimon (blue) and IceDevimon digivolved into Taomon (silver) which is apparently one of Youkomon Digivolutions too. I felt powerful enough to go against Machinedramon again... Let's see how that goes in an upcoming session.
