Contraindicaciones de la Lactancia Materna / Contraindications of Breastfeeding

Buenas nuevamente hermosa comunidad de hive antes de adentrarme en el tema de hoy no quería dejar de agradecer el apoyo en mi post anterior "Beneficios de la Lactancia Materna". Y como lo prometido es deuda, hoy les traigo la otra cara de La Moneda, Las contraindicaciones de la lactancia.

Siempre se debe consultar al médico ante la administración de cualquier medicamento, o en caso de enfermedad durante este periodo tan vital para la salud del recién nacido. Aquí les señalo algunas de las situaciones más comunes en las que está contraindicada:

•Madres portadoras del VIH:El virus pasa por la leche al niño y puedes transmitirlo a tu bebé a través de la lactancia materna.

•Sospecha de Herpez Zoster: Si encuentra alguna ampolla en el pezón sugestiva de este virus, podría causar la muerte del bebé al ser contagiado mientras es amamantado .

•Infección tuberculosa activa no tratada, tratamiento oncológico y si consume drogas

•Madres portadoras de Hepatitis viral B y C:algunos recién nacidos se les ha podido demostrar la sangre contaminada con estos virus mediante lesiones o sangramientos del pezón.

•Contraindicaciones Farmacológicas: el consumo de determinados fármacos puede contraindicar la lactancia.

•Enfermedades Malignas o Graves.

•Enfermedades Infectocontagiosas o infecciosas graves.

•Las contraindicaciones absolutas para el Lactante son pocas, se consideran prohibidas en algunos errores congénitos del metabolismo, en especial la galactosemia.
