She's so tiny! I've not seen a huntsman so small before. And her colour is amazing. Always a pleasure to read your spider posts and I can't wait for your next one!
I had no idea spiders had pigment in their haemolymph! I see it's only in this species, which makes it even more spectacular. Now I wonder how this evolutionary trait came about for them while other huntsman or other green spiders don't have it.

Hi @anikekirsten, I read that pigment is also found in the yolk of the oocytes of that spider. I would also ask myself that question, I just know that evolutionary adaptations arise according to the needs or demands of each species in relation to its environment.
