Shining Leaf Beetles | Lema praeusta

Hello everyone, good afternoon wherever you are, how are you this afternoon? Hope you are fine wherever you are.

I"m back here again and on this occasion I want to show you some beautiful shots of Shining Leaf Beetles. I found this beautiful beetle in the garden, standing gracefully on one of the leaves there. In Latin, this beetle is known as Lema praeusta and the beetle comes from the Chrysomelidae family.

And it is also one of the beetles that has beautiful and shiny colors. Its body is metallic green and the neck and head are reddish orange. When placed in sunlight, its shine shines even more. What a super beautiful beetle. Apart from its attractive color, its body shape is also very beautiful, its body is slightly elongated and has a pair of hard elytra wings which function to protect the thin, soft wings beneath it.

In terms of habitat, this insect is the same as other insects in general. They like green environments, be it parks, gardens, fields, forests and so on. And this beetle is also a beetle that is very active when the sun is shining. Apart from liking green environments, they also like sunlight.
