Ear fungus

In a quiet corner of the forest, a life grows silently. They grow on fallen tree trunks that are beginning to rot and are overgrown with mushrooms. They grow in large numbers. They grow close together, embracing each other, looking like a family seeking warmth together. At first glance, I was immediately amazed by them. Their shape is very unique, resembling a human ear. The mushroom's brown color further enhances its resemblance to a human ear.

After taking the photo, I tried to hold the mushroom. It turned out to be very soft and pliable, like jelly, growing naturally on the tree trunk. If you're not looking closely, you might not notice the mushroom because its color almost matches the tree trunk where it grows. I believe mushrooms are simply created for the eyes that take a moment to see them. Simple, but when you look closely, you'll find extraordinary beauty.
