I feel like I saw one of these in my kitchen yesterday. I'm in southeastern Wisconsin, though, which would barely be in its range. I thought it was an ant, but then it flew. Sorry to any ant or fly lovers out there, but I did kill it. 
No worries, it was probably just an ant then (reproductive male or female ants have wings)
Oh ok! I don't know much about ants, I suppose. Just that I don't really want them inside my house. haha.
Inside the house is fair game haha
