I've never had much success with the beer traps. I see them drinking the night away at them in droves, but come morning only a couple have fallen in and drowned. I figured Aussie slugs are just too good at holding their beer.

The trick is to sprinkle some sand in the trap. Then the slugs get drunk and throw rocks at each other!

I missed that ingredient. I'm pretty sure they'd just bounce off, though, knowing how much it takes to squish one. Or are we just after a concussion?

Maybe it's the slugs, maybe it's the beer. My American slugs actually dissolve in my American beer... could be weak slugs, could be the beer is full of industrial contaminants.
