Problems Plus - Example 2: Solve Hypotenuse in Terms of the Perimeter

avatar

It's time for another problems plus example! My calculus book has these challenging examples after the end of each chapter so I thought I should do another video on them. In this example, I show how you can simplify a system of equations by looking at familiar things in them in solving for the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle in terms of its perimeter. This example is pretty challenging at first but it will help you when looking at problems in class later on, so make sure to watch it!
