Magnetic Field Experiments of Magnets Forced Together in Repulsion

avatar

These are some very interesting experiments by Bob Greener in showing the resulting magnetic field of magnets that are forced together while in repulsion. The idea for the experiments came from trying to replicate former Lockheed Martin engineer Boyd Bushman's claim that magnets in repulsion fall slower in gravity.

Bob forced the magnets together via a non-magnetic brass screw and showed the differences between the resulting magnet field under a magnetic viewing film and an old CRT TV screen with that of the two magnets placed in normal attraction orientation.

Here is the viewing film experiment with the magnets in normal attraction.

Compare it with the magnets forced in repulsion.

Here is a mixture of the 2 pairs of magnets.

The idea was to force the magnetism in a "beam" formation as per the following patent which claims can affect the decay rate of elements and their interactions with gravity.

The biggest difference is when he places the magnets in front of a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) TV. A CRT TV is a vacuum tube that involves shooting "electrons" towards a "phosphorescent" screen which then displays light. The regular magnets in attraction are shown on the left while the magnets in repulsion are shown on the right. Note that extremely small magnetic field displayed for the magnets in repulsion!

These are some very intriguing experiments that requires exploring further, which I will be exploring!
