Large-sized lizard whose head and body length measures up to 95 mm and a relatively very long tail, whose length can reach 230 mm. Very large dorsal scales, similar to those on the sides, flat, overlapping, pointed and strongly keeled, 30-36 in number in a ring in the center of the body. Scales behind the ear keeled. No necklace. With bluish ocelli on the sides.😏🤩
Lagarto de grande porte com cabeça e comprimento do corpo de até 95 mm e cauda relativamente longa, que pode chegar a 230 mm de comprimento. Escamas dorsais muito grandes, semelhantes às dos lados, planas, sobrepostas, pontiagudas e fortemente quilhadas, em número de 30-36 em um anel no centro do corpo. Escamas atrás da orelha caíram. Sem colar. Com ocelos azulados nas laterais.📕📖

Color of the back light brown, copper brown or olive. It has two supraciliary lines and another two whitish or yellowish supralabial lines. Between the supraciliary and the supralabial on each side there is a dark band. In populations of the eastern peninsula, a dark vertebral line is distinguished with a light line on each side. There are also copies in which the design is completely missing. On each side of the body it has blueish axillary ocelli, decreasing in size towards the back of the body. At the bottom they are whitish. Large males have orange and / or yellow sides of the head and throat in spring. Females in heat show a yellowish color in the throat.🤔🤔
Cor do dorso castanho claro, castanho cobre ou azeitona. Possui duas linhas supraciliares e outras duas linhas supralabiais esbranquiçadas ou amareladas. Entre o supraciliar e o supralabial de cada lado há uma faixa escura. Em populações da península oriental, uma linha vertebral escura é distinguida com uma linha clara em cada lado. Também há cópias em que falta o desenho. Em cada lado do corpo existem ocelos axilares azulados, diminuindo de tamanho em direção à parte posterior do corpo. No fundo são esbranquiçados. Os machos grandes têm lados laranja e / ou amarelos da cabeça e da garganta na primavera. As fêmeas no cio apresentam uma coloração amarelada na garganta.👩‍🎓👨‍🏫👨‍🎓

Durante a estação reprodutiva, os maiores machos têm cabeças laranja ou amareladas. As cópulas acontecem entre abril e junho. As fêmeas fazem 1 a 2 ninhadas de 1 a 11 ovos. Os recém-nascidos são vistos de agosto a outubro.😏😏
