Beautiful Dragonfly (Neurothemis Terminata)

Before it rained yesterday afternoon I looked for some photography objects in the bushes on the path leading to the oil palm plantation owned by the farmer.

A cloudy day made it hard for me to take some photos of dragonflies with it's names Neurothemis terminata. Due to the lack of light, some photos are less than perfect. But I don't want to miss the moment to photograph this beautiful dragonfly. They were very busy flying here and there, maybe because it was the rainy season so they came out of hiding like never before.

I observed some of them looking very hungry and sometimes while flying around their prey, small low flying insects were caught by them, after their prey was caught and stood on the leaves devouring them, after they finished flying again in a circle looking for something to catch.

It's very fun and exciting when you are in the meadow. You will forget some of your everyday problems if they exist by watching and observing these amazing little creatures in all their behavior.

In short, I'd say being a photographer and going hunting in the jungle is fun as well as healthy. How not! besides you can enjoy the fresh air, you can also get to know some natural creatures that you may not have known before.
